First steps in Peer Support and Peer Mentoring Training for KS2 & KS3 pupils. Steps is an intensive two day peer support and peer mentor training programme.

It is designed to equip pupils in Y4-7 with skills and expertise to effectively and safely support their peers and to develop roles and responsibilities in school that promotes a safe and positive ethos and culture.

The established ASDAN recognised training programme helps to deliver improved self-awareness, increased resilience, raised self-esteem and confidence. It develops character and provides pupils with skills to support and mentor their peers in a range of settings. In addition it provides evidence for schools to support the promotion of anti-bullying as well as the British Values of respect, tolerance, the rule of law and an appreciation of equality and competitiveness.

The training is tailored to the specific needs of your school. It is inclusive of two day’s training by a qualified experienced teacher, followed by a review visit, all pupil packs, certificates, badges and lanyards.
