Promoting online safety in schools through the training, support and development of Pupil Digital Ambassadors.

This programme will raise and improve the profile and understanding of online safety and safeguarding issues in your school by establishing and supporting a group of trained peer Digital Ambassadors. It includes issues around online risks, sharing personal information, digital footprint and age appropriateness.

Delivery is through an initial one day training session for up to 12 pupils, followed by 3 half day follow on sessions throughout the rest of the academic year. One day initial training delivery focuses on online safety issues, combined with aspects of human behaviour, leadership and mentoring skills to establish a group of Digital Ambassadors within your school that can provide ongoing guidance, leadership and support to other pupils. Follow up sessions focus on review, supervision, leadership and further action planning for online safety issues being encountered in school and the ongoing development of the skills of the Digital Ambassadors.

This programme directly links to and supports schools with providing evidence for the Ofsted recognised 360 Degree Safety Mark. The training is delivered by experienced qualified teachers and is inclusive of comprehensive pupil packs, certificates, badges and lanyards, and all other resources.
